Allen E Schultz has been involved with photography since 1962.
His father taught him how to develop and print in his dark room right from the get go. So his fondness for B&W goes a long way back.
Allen’s profession is civil engineering. His last project was the 40 month long Durban Harbour Entrance Widening (DHEW). Here he was responsible for all the photographic records of all aspects of the construction. This resulted in excess of 500Gb of images.
Allen is now in an excellent position to consult architects, consulting engineers and contractors (anybody really) on how to make their site ‘photos both search-able and efficiently archived. Will save hours of precious time thumbing through 100’s of folders looking for certain events.
Presently Allen is an active member of Hillcrest Camera Club.
Allen has also attended the Vega Brand Communication School’s National College of Photography Intermediate Course.
